The structure of the MB-OpenSky 140 system is made of extruded aluminium, guaranteeing its durability and strength. The use of an innovative profile fitting method with specialized pins ensures the stability of the entire system and provides an aesthetic connection without visible gaps. The roofing is a module composed of movable louvres, equipped with a mechanism allowing the angle of inclination to be changed along their axis from 0 to 135°. The louvres feature special sealing gaskets that protect against rainwater, and the drainage system located in the posts enables effective water drainage via gutters and downpipes to the stormwater system. The product meets strength requirements for snow load and strong wind gusts. Tests have shown that for a pergola measuring L 6m x W 4m x H 3m, the permissible snow load is 200 kg/m ², corresponding to a snow cover depth of approx. 100 cm, while simultaneously withstanding wind speeds of approx. 95 km/h. (Note: The summary list below mentions 110 km/h). The product is available in freestanding and wall-mounted versions, with a special bracket allowing installation on insulated walls. A double-module version is available, enabling an increased usable area. The maximum dimensions for a single segment are: L 7m x W 5m x H 3m.
